St. Dominic uses the PBIS framework in the teaching of social competencies and in the development of a safe and effective school environment.  Our three school-wide behavioral expectations are:

Be Safe

Be Responsible

Be a Follower of Christ

"Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours. Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh."

- Luke 6: 20-21

Report Cards/Grade Scale/Interim Reports

Report cards are issued three times annually for grades 1 thru 8.  Kindergarten report cards are issued at the end of the second, and third trimester.

Letter grades are issued for all subjects in grades 1-3 and number grades are issued for all students in grades 4-8.  Grading scales for grades 1-8:

A=99-100 A=95-98A-=93-94
B+=91-92B=87-90B-=85-86
C+=83-84 C=79-82 C-=77-78
D+=75-76 D=72-74 D-=70-71
Below 70=Failing

Interim reports are sent home at mid trimester to all students during the first, second and third trimester.  Since Parent-Teacher Conferences take place in the second trimester, only students receiving a D or F will receive interim reports during the second trimester grading period whether or not the parents conferenced with any of the teachers.

 A report card can be withheld from those families whose tuition is not paid in full by the end of the school year, in accordance with the Financial Policy.
